Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data we collect when you use walker-press.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and specific: we only collect what we actually need.

1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Multimedia Publishing LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Delaware, United States, trading as Walker Press.
16192 Coastal Highway
Lewes, Delaware 19958
United States
You can reach us at info@walker-press.com for anything concerning this policy or your data.
2. What we collect
Only what you type into our sign-up forms:
- Your first name — used to address you in emails.
- Your email address — used to send you what you asked for.
That is the entire list. We do not ask for postal addresses, phone numbers or payment details: purchases happen on Amazon, under Amazon's own terms and privacy policy, and we never see your payment information.
Our study tools — the exam simulators and flashcards — run entirely in your browser. They do not create an account, do not store your answers anywhere, and do not send your results to us or to anyone else. Closing the tab discards the session.
3. Why we collect it, and on what legal basis
We use your name and email only to send you the material you signed up for and occasional updates about new study guides and tools. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form and confirm your address by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who else processes your data
Running a website and an email list means relying on a few service providers. These are all of them:
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| AWeber | Stores our mailing list and delivers our emails. Your name and email are stored here. | United States |
| Vercel | Hosts this website and serves its pages. | United States / global network |
| Cloudflare | Delivers the site and provides anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics. | Global network |
| Google Drive | Hosts the downloadable practice-exam PDFs. Opening one is a visit to Google, under Google's privacy policy. | United States |
We are based in the United States, and so are the providers above, which means your data is stored and processed in the United States. If you are writing to us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this is a transfer outside your region: we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where our providers are certified, on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own, and stores nothing in your browser. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without building a profile of you across sites. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social-media trackers.
Links that leave our site — Amazon, ChatGPT, Google Drive, CompTIA — take you to services with their own tracking and their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your name and email for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is marked as unsubscribed in AWeber and no longer used to send you anything; you can ask us to delete it entirely at any time and we will do so.
7. Your rights
We extend these rights to everyone on our list, wherever you live — not only to readers covered by the GDPR. There is one list and one way of handling it, so drawing lines by country would only make things harder for you. At any time, free of charge, you can:
- ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it deleted;
- ask us to restrict or stop processing it;
- receive it in a portable, machine-readable format;
- withdraw your consent — this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, write to info@walker-press.com. We answer within 30 days. The fastest way to stop our emails is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every one of them — it works immediately and needs no explanation.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority — the list is kept by the European Data Protection Board, and in the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office. Wherever you are, writing to us first is usually faster: we answer every request ourselves.
8. Children
This site is aimed at adults preparing for professional IT certifications. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting your rights will also be announced by email to subscribers.
10. Contact
