COMPTIA SECURITY+ · SY0-801 · V8
One chapter for every SY0-801 objective — 27 in all, across the exam's five domains. 216 scenario questions where every answer choice is explained, exam traps flagged before they are asked, and the AI threats objective in a full chapter.
EXAM OVERVIEW
CompTIA Security+ validates the core skills of a security role: reading the indicators of an attack, securing an architecture, running operations and incident response, and managing risk. SY0-801 is the V8 revision of the exam — the one that brings AI into the objectives, with a full objective on threats to AI systems and agentic AI inside security operations. This guide is written against the draft objectives CompTIA released for it (v1.5).

WHAT'S IN IT
